Given two weeks and very little budget to concept and produce a new YouTube acquisition campaign, we needed to find a way to let people know that with HostGator, you can build your site your way. We quickly settled on the philosophy that "getting stuck sucks."
We spent a few exhaustingly funny days looking through UGC footage to find just the right clips, and then got an animator to play with our brand mascot to drive home the message.
Ad recall went up 240% (benchmark: 57%) and brand awareness was at 65% (benchmark: 12%). Cringeworthy? Maybe. Effective? No doubt.
